Why...
... is Joe the Plumber in the news again?

Look, I have no real problems with working-class conservatives. That's cool. Just keep any religious stuff you may have out of my life, and we can see eye-to-eye on many things (as I'm a progressive moderate something, I guess). But this Joe guy. Wow. What a fucking willing IDIOT.

My mom can run circles around him on foreign policy. MY MOM. And anyone who knows my mother will agree she's awesome, but stuff like history and foreign policy aren't really her thing. Still, she's leaps and bounds more aware than that guy. I mean, have you heard him speak?

I can be fair and rack up some of his gaffes to stage-fright and being rough in the social arena. Cool. But over and over? He's like raw, distorted, bizarre comedy. After watching a clip of him on youtube I had to check the house for gas leaks.

Yeah, that bad. Especially after I discovered that there were no gas leaks.

Sarah Palin was bad enough, but at least she's educated (or can kinda fake like she paid attention in school a little). "Joe the Plumber"? Fucking unrestrained, unabashed idiocy. And I'll tell him that to his face if I ever get the chance. I don't care if he's merely ignorant. Right on, dude. I'm ignorant to baseball and like it that way, right? But I don't go on the news and pretend I'm a baseball expert. Hell, I don't even go on the news and pretend I know shit about politics. Even if I did, I sure as heck wouldn't say stupid things like "well, I dunno what Obama or McCain's policies are... I figure we'll know after the votes are in. Hur hur hur!" (that's a "para-quote", just so you know... I'm just summing up his idiocy in brief measure). Maybe he just does it for the paycheck. Meal tickets are hard to find these days.

But yeah, you conservative working class folks out there should be screaming for his head. His nice, juicy, brain-meats devoid head.

Holy shit, ANN COULTER makes more sense than him. Fucking SCARY.

Better check for gas leaks again. Maybe I left my glue pens uncapped...

ALSO: New word I like that I may or may not have come up with-- PETAphile.

Good times!

One of my NY resolutions was to simply not listen to Republicans anymore. It doesn't really change much on the world scale for either party concerned but I seem to be smiling more and food tastes better.

This is true. Same goes for outspoken Neo-Libertarians.

I'll still listen to PJ O'Rourke, though, as he's the kinda Republican I like.

I like that they are sending him to Israel to get an "average joe's" take on the battle.

I guess they must think the "average Joe" is utterly retarded and a plain insult to people born with severe mental challenges every where.

Now, if he went to Burma, that could be interesting. But Joe doesn't know shit about Burma (or it's new name), and I doubt he got the new Rambo film when he saw it other than think that the religious missionaries should have been armed or some macho dumbshit bullshit like that.

Here's to some Hamas dude or IDF soldier punching that dipshit in the balls/face/both balls and face.

And after that they'll send him to Darfur to get an "average joe's" take on that, and then send to the mountains of Afghanistan to get an "average joe's" take on and then...

They'll get rid of him eventually. I have to admit it's a solid plan.

And anyone who has any brain activity. The guy was simply a stunt. And it almost worked.

I mean, look, most people now have already forgotten the election. And so Joe moves on to the next gig...

most people now have already forgotten the election.

I doubt that. Wait the next two to four years, I'm sure a lot of old wounds (at least as perceived as) will probably come out, especially by the few remaining and deranged Hillary Clinton supporters.

True-- to a point.

I've only written about him... just this once I think. I mentioned him in a post or two back. But I've never really talked about him. I doubt I will again, either.

He is like the Vanilla Ice of politics, just like Palin was the Britney Spears of politics.
